Gaustatoppen (1883 moh.) rager majestetisk over Rjukan, og er av mange omtalt som Norges vakreste fjell. Toppen er lett tilgjengelig og enkel å bestige, men byr likevel på Sør-Norges videste utsikt.
Fra toppen kan du i klarvær se omtrent en sjettedel av Norge. Hit kommer du til fots eller med Gaustabanen som tar deg opp over 700 høydemeter på innsiden av fjellet.
